As a blogger, there’s nothing I love more than learning about a company and how it’s started, who’s behind it and what drives them to do what they do. Today, we had the pleasure of meeting some of the @juicebeauty team along with the creator and owner, Karen Behnke, for the launch of their new product ‘Juice Beauty Prebiotix Hydrating Gel’.
It was a breath of fresh air to see her passion in health and wellness and it comforts me to know that she is so dedicated in creating products that are not just natural and organic, but also good for you (skinfood). What’s fascinating is that they now own a farm land close to some wineries in Sonoma, California, where they can grow ingredients to be used in their products. A place I’ll have to add to my ‘must visit’ list for when I’m back in California. I would love to see how things are made!
Today, I’ve learned that they’re products have 2.7x more antioxidants than other organic brands and 70% of the ingredients are made with natural juice base, compared to other brands that are mostly water or petroleum base. Those are very interesting eye opening facts.

Thank you Juice Beauty for hosting this tasty lunch at this beautiful location called the ‘Botanist Restaurant’ in Vancouver. Check out my dishes below. Yum!
Now tell me, do you look at ingredients before you purchase them? I think it’s a good habit to start and definitely beneficial to know about what you use daily that could be harming your skin and potentially cause harm to your body in the long run.
