Schaf Skincare Beauty

Schaf Skincare is a Canadian company that produces natural skincare products. They are 100% natural, toxin-free, cruelty-free and vegan. Over the years, the skincare industry has boomed and grown significantly. The focus on looking and staying youthful is a very big business. But have you ever looked at the ingredients in the items you buy? So many have names you can’t even pronounce. In fact, many can actually be harmful to you over time.

I absolutely love products that are natural and good for your skin. I mean who doesn’t right? Schaf Skincare products are available for both men and women, with ingredients that are equally beneficial to dry, oily and sensitive skin types. I’ve been fortunate enough to be given samples of their products to try out and review for myself. For about a month, I used the products day and night to really give it time to show results. Every product smells amazingly fresh. They all contain hyaluronic acid, a substance that can be found naturally in the body. It works as a space filler and cushion, to help hydrate skin and stimulate collagen production. The perfect substance for preventing wrinkles and reduce the signs of aging.

Nutritive Daily Moisturizer

Oh, how I love the smell of this moisturizer. It’s very hydrating, long lasting and my skin felt really moisturized. It’s lightweight, oil-free and non-irritating. This moisturizer includes a blend of avocado, grapeseed, shea butter, and pumpkin. I truly loved it, not just because of the amazing scent, but it worked great underneath my makeup, helping my skin looked less cakey.  It provided hydration throughout the day. I wanted to shower my entire body with this and I’m hoping they would make one for full body use. This moisturizer currently retails at $45 CAD.

Nutritive Daily Eye Cream

I’ve tried many eye creams and there are some that dry up so quickly, dissolves too fast and were not hydrating enough. Over the past months of constant makeup application and removal, the skin under my eye has gotten thinner, dry and lackluster. This Nutritive Daily Eye Cream was lightweight and kept my under eye moisturized throughout the day and not just after application. I’ve noticed the skin in the area became more supple and plump after continuous use. The cream retails at $40 CAD.

Radiance and Firming Serum

This was one item I was looking forward to seeing results from. Over the years, I have been noticing more and more age spots surfacing around my eye. One of the main ingredients in this serum is Vitamin C. Vitamin C has been known to aid in reducing age spots by brightening up the skin. This also helps to restore and hydrate skin. It can be applied under your moisturizer day and night. With continuous use, I noticed my skin feeling more hydrated and vibrant. It looked refreshed, bright and the serum was not greasy and did not irritate or make my skin break out. The brown age spots on my face have lightened a bit and hopefully by changing up the application to day and night, that there’ll be more noticeable results over time. Retailing at $60 CAD.

White Lava Purifying Scrub

This product works two ways – cleanser and scrub. This scrub includes apricot seed and white lava particles that help exfoliate the skin and slough off dead skin cells. My skin felt instantly smooth after use and much brighter. There were noticeably less bumps from surface pores after exfoliating with this scrub. In fact, as I’m writing this post, I’m using this scrub to cleanse before heading to bed. It amazes me how much brighter and fresh my skin looks. Great, great scrub and you can grab one for $30 CAD!

Ultimate Comfort Shave Cream

This shave cream is definitely different from other shaving creams I’ve tried. It was packed into a tub container made of coconut oil and aloe. I love it! After using, I noticed there were no razor burns, opposed to some other shaving cream that leaves a line or patch that looks scratched off. My skin felt so smooth and not bumpy. It also smells amazing and I love the way it feels on my fingertips. It’s like whipped butter that made my skin feel hydrated. I noticed that it actually took a day longer than usual for my hair to grow back because it really does a close shave. I’m afraid to go back to any other shaving cream, this has been the only one that’s left my skin moisturized and really feeling hair free after use. Its retail price is $30 CAD and definitely worth it.

Hydrating Daily Facial Cleanser

This coconut based cleanser is infused with cucumber, chamomile, and aloe. Can be used day and night to cleanse dirt and oil from the skin. It works for all skin types and great for sensitive skin. It was non-drying and gentle, keeping my skin moisturized without stripping its natural oils. This cleanser can be purchased at $25 CAD.

Aww sorry to hear that. I have relatives who are the same. So it’s REALLY important to look at ingredients and do patch test beforehand. 🙂

I love learning about new skincare products because I’m so particular about my skin. Would you say the products work well on sensitive skin? I love that it doesn’t have artificial ingredients or GMOs.
