Skinceuticals Pigmentation 3 Step System Review

What’s your main skin concern?

For me, discoloration and age spots!! In this post, I’ll be reviewing the Skinceuticals Pigmentation 3-Step System. Read on to find out about the key ingredients.

Being in my late 30s, I’m starting to notice more flaws in my skin. From skin tags, age spots, and loss of suppleness, it’s definitely not like it used to be, even as recent as 5 years ago. It can change so quickly and if we don’t take care of it now it will cost more to fix. I admit, I haven’t been mindful of sun damage when I was young and now it’s starting to show.

There are so many products out there and it’s so hard to choose. Skinceuticals sent me this 3-Step Pigmentation System and I’ve been using this exclusively for the past week. I really wanted to see if there would be noticeable results and tried to not mix it with other skincare brands.

In just a week, my skin looks noticeably brighter and I can see blemishes and brown spots getting lighter. If this is also your skin concern or simply looking to prevent discoloration do try this out!

Pigmentation Regimen – 3-Step System: (use in order)

Phloretin CF- contains  2% Phloretin, 10% pure vitamin C (L-ascorbic Acid), and 0.5% Ferulic Acid to protect from environmental damage and free radicals. Apply on the face, neck, and chest before other skincare products.

Discoloration Defense- contains 3% Tranexamic acid, 1% Kojic acid, 5% Niacinamide, and 5% HEPES. This dark spot corrector helps to treat stubborn brown patches and post-acne marks. Apply 3-5 drops to the face after Phloretin CF or a vitamin C serum. Avoid sun exposure when in use and follow with sunscreen.

Physical Fusion UV Defense SPF 50- contains 5% Zinc Oxide (Z-Cote), 6% Titanium Dioxide, and translucent color spheres that adapt to all skin tones. A weightless tinted sunscreen that provides UVA/UVB protection. Gives a radiant appearance on skin that would be great under makeup or standalone.

I’ll continue using this and will add updates here. Got any skincare recommendations? Comment below I would love to know what works for you.
